I am currently partnering with a leading financial services organisation embarking on a major Workday implementation within their Finance function. As part of this programme, we are seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead and oversee all testing activities across the delivery lifecycle. This is a key role responsible for defining the testing strategy, coordinating internal and third-party testing efforts, and ensuring a high-quality implementation.
Essential skills:
- Define and lead the overall testing strategy and approach for the Workday Finance implementation programme.
- Develop, document, and maintain test strategies, plans, test cases, and scripts.
- Coordinate testing activities with the third-party implementation partner to ensure seamless delivery across integrated systems.
- Establish and oversee testing MI and reporting, enabling effective progress tracking and informed decision-making.
- Manage defect tracking and resolution, including prioritisation and escalation where required.
- Collaborate with the Environment Manager to ensure timely availability of testing environments and releases.
- Support environment planning to ensure all required systems are available ahead of testing phases.
- Manage resource planning and resolve conflicts relating to user testing activities.
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and provide expert guidance on quality assurance and testing best practices.
- Produce test completion reports and ensure adherence to data and change governance frameworks, maintaining full traceability.
