Sanderson Government & Defence is supporting a major UK public sector programme and is seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong Denodo expertise to join a high-performing delivery team.
This is a client-facing role within a dynamic data services environment, requiring excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and strong commercial awareness. You will play a key role in delivering data integration solutions across multiple connected systems, supporting large-scale migration and transformation initiatives.
- Design, build, and optimise data pipelines to support migration activities
- Develop and maintain automated solutions, including code creation and testing
- Perform complex data transformations using appropriate programming languages
- Ensure performance, scalability, and security of data solutions
- Virtual Data Bases (VDBs)
- Performance optimisation and tuning
- Good commercial awareness
- Understanding of legacy data warehouse environments within large organisations
Location: Hybrid working, with occasional on-site workshops (typically a few days per month) in either Telford or Hove.
Security Clearance: Active SC clearance (or transferable clearance from another UK government department) is required.
