We are working with a growing transformation consultancy who are looking to hire a Senior Delivery Manager to join its delivery capability. This is a key hire into a business with a strong track record across public sector transformation delivery, particularly within local government. The organisation works in an embedded model, partnering closely with clients to deliver meaningful outcomes in complex environments. You will play a leading role across client engagements, bringing structure, governance and delivery confidence while working alongside multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on delivery across complex transformation projects and programmes.
- Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders.
- Establish governance, structure and delivery cadence.
- Work in agile and sprint based environments where appropriate.
- Coordinate delivery across multidisciplinary teams.
- Take a hands on role where required across delivery, PMO or wider change activity.
- Support multiple client engagements where needed.
Experience required:
- Strong delivery experience across projects and programmes - essential.
- Experience working in or alongside public sector organisations - essential.
- Local or central government exposure is highly desirable.
- Strong governance and stakeholder management capability.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders in complex environments.
- Understanding of agile and structured delivery approaches - essential.
