An exciting opportunity for a Junior Business Analyst to step into Product!
Are you a Junior Business Analyst/Analyst with exposure to insurance claims, looking to move into a Product-focused role? This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing InsurTech business where you’ll be fully supported as you transition into Product Ownership.
You’ll work closely with and be mentored by an experienced senior Claims Product Owner, receiving structured training, hands-on experience, and clear career progression. Importantly, previous Product Owner experience isn’t required — this role is designed for someone with a BA background who is keen to develop their product skillset.
The Role
You’ll support the Claims Product function, working alongside senior product leaders and development teams to help deliver and enhance innovative claims solutions. This is initially an internal-facing role, giving you the space to learn and build confidence, with opportunities to become more client-facing as you develop.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support the senior Claims Product Owner in day-to-day sprint and delivery activities
- Assist with backlog management, sprint planning, and user story definition
- Ensure well-defined, ready-to-build requirements for the development team
- Help identify and mitigate delivery blockers
- Gather and document requirements across claims and FNOL workflows
- Contribute to user documentation and product materials
- Build knowledge of Agile/Scrum ways of working
Product Demonstrations & Communication
- Support internal product demos and showcase sessions
- Assist in preparing materials for feature demonstrations
Development Opportunities (fully supported)
- Learn Product Owner responsibilities and stakeholder engagement
- Gain exposure to supporting sales and client queries
- Develop an understanding of product strategy, roadmap planning, and prioritisation

What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Junior Business Analyst (or similar)
- Exposure to insurance claims is essential (e.g. claims handling, FNOL, loss adjusting)
- Interest in developing a career in Product
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Desirable (not essential):
- Knowledge of claims workflows or case management systems
- Experience within insurance or a software/technology environment
- Aware of Agile/Scrum
