We're partnering with a well-established organisation embarking on an exciting digital transformation programme and looking to appoint a
Senior Security Engineer to help shape and mature its security capability.
Working closely with the CISO and wider technology teams, you'll play a pivotal role in embedding security into engineering, cloud and operational environments while supporting several business-critical transformation projects.
The Opportunity
This is far more than a traditional security engineering role.
You'll be involved in designing secure solutions, influencing technology decisions and helping development teams build security into everything they deliver.
Current initiatives include
- Cloud transformation and cloud security
- Identity and external authentication projects
- Dev Sec Ops adoption and secure software delivery
- CI/CD security and automation
- Security architecture and engineering improvements
- Security tooling, assurance and control optimisation
You'll become a trusted security advisor, working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure security is understood, embedded and aligned with business objectives
- What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver security engineering expertise across enterprise-wide projects
- Partner with engineering, infrastructure and development teams to build secure solutions
- Drive Dev Sec Ops and Secure SDLC best practice
- Embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines and engineering processes
- Support cloud security architecture and design
- Coordinate security testing and remediation activities
- Contribute to governance, assurance and risk management initiatives
- Work closely with third-party suppliers to ensure secure project delivery
- Communicate technical risks and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels
