Project:
This role sits within a large-scale agile transformation in a retail environment. The focus is not tooling or process alone, it’s behaviour change. The client is moving from traditional project delivery to a true agile model. This requires a shift in mindset across delivery, engineering and leadership.
You will work closely with product managers, project managers, engineering managers as well as delivery leads, supporting experienced teams as they evolve established ways of working into more Agile centric, high performing, collaborative and outcome-driven delivery practices.
Expectations:
- Lead behaviour change across teams and leadership
- Coach individuals and groups on agile ways of working
- Drive the shift from project mindset to product and value delivery
- Develop and coach internal trainers to improve their impact and credibility
- Embed people centric leadership across delivery functions
- Support adoption of SAFe and enterprise operating models
- Apply performance coaching techniques to improve team effectiveness
- Challenge existing behaviours and ways of working where needed
- Operate at both strategic and hands on levels
- Deliver measurable improvement in engagement, delivery outcomes and team maturity
Experience Required:
- Strong Agile Coach or Behaviour Coach background
- Proven experience within retail environments
- Track record of driving behavioural change at scale
- Deep understanding of agile frameworks including SAFe
- Experience with AOC, EOC and broader operating model transformation
- Strong performance coaching capability
- Experience coaching senior stakeholders including Heads of and Directors
- Comfortable working with engineering and delivery communities
- Ability to influence without authority
- Clear and pragmatic communication style
