Senior Software Engineer (London Area)

Sanderson is partnered with a SaaS company who are going through a phase of incredible growth! As part of this growth, they are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you would be working across the full tech stack, but have a weighting towards the frontend technologies. You would be responsible for leading and delivering high-quality experiences with a focus on performance, scalability, and user experience on a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
• Optimise performance through techniques like code splitting, lazy loading, and efficient state management.
• Collaborate with product and delivery teams to turn requirements into clean, scalable code.
• Contribute to backend integration and occasional Node.js/MongoDB tasks within an Azure environment.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
• Work across different frontend frameworks where needed and follow Agile and CI/CD best practices.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong expertise in React, including hooks, context, and state management, with solid TypeScript skills
• Proven senior-level experience in frontend development
• Familiarity with backend technologies, specifically Node.js and MongoDB
• Demonstrated skills in performance optimisation
• Experience working in cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure

This is a full-time permanent position, offering a starting salary up to £65,000 (Depending on Experience) and a remote working model.
