What You\’ll be doing

  • Use data analysis techniques to investigate, validate, and enhance complex actuarial models.
  • Analyse and assess complex calculations for clients, delivering clear, actionable solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to implement changes-whether regulatory, client-driven, or corrective.
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and is completed on time and within agreed budgets.
  • Support the operations team by responding to calculation-related customer queries, recalculating values, and correcting policy errors when needed.

What we\’re looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years\’ experience in actuarial roles, ideally within the Life and Pensions sector.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
  • Proven leadership experience and the ability to guide and support teams.
  • Experience in outsourced servicing and client quote management.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with confidence in handling large datasets under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, modelling, and automation a plus).
  • A structured, methodical approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
