Overview of the role:
We're looking for an experienced and high quality Solution Architect with a strong background in Composable architecture and ideally experience of Supply Chain or Fulfilment. You'll be joining a household brand that is going through another phase of exciting growth and looking to improve their Supply chain technology through the introduction of new technologies, processes, efficiencies, automation and improvements of existing tech too.
As a Solution Architect with a strong background in the retail sector across all domains, you'll be joining an excellent, high performing architecture practice, working closely with Product owners and senior stakeholders across the organisation. This role will support the delivery of the client's 2026 roadmap by providing solution architecture services across a wide portfolio of projects. Whilst this role is for a generalist, we are particularly looking for expertise in Supply chain, order fulfilment, carrier and transport management.
This role requires someone with very strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities as well as excellent technical know-how.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience delivering solutions and architectural designs for Supply chain projects and in a retail business ideally but open to other sectors.
- Able to show experience of owning solutions in a rapidly changing solution landscape, working with multiple transitions across time.
- Understanding of MACH principles, with a focus on composable platforms and patterns.
- Strong skills in solution design, systems integration and architecture governance.
- Solid understanding of data governance, privacy standards, and compliance in customer data handling.
- Proven senior stakeholder management skills in a company operating in multiple countries.
- Ability to handle ambiguity and uncertainty in business requirements and a complex and changing solution landscape.
- Experience of creating and maintaining information in an architecture repository, ideally LeanIX.
