As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for managing the product backlog, translating business strategies into development-ready user stories, and ensuring maximum value is delivered to our users.

Experience Required:

  • Proven experience leading product development from discovery through to delivery, managing backlogs and requirements within Agile frameworks.
  • Comfortable working with APIs, event-driven architectures, and cloud-based infrastructure, enabling informed collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Awareness of how AI and large language models (LLMs) impact product design and delivery, with the ability to collaborate effectively with AI specialists.
  • Passionate about solving real-world problems for users, validating product decisions through data, interviews, feedback, and analytics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to define, measure, and track product success through KPIs and outcome-driven metrics, prioritising what will have real impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with stakeholders and users to gather requirements, break down complex needs into actionable user stories, and maintain clarity for the development team.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate AI-driven capabilities into products, working closely with technical teams to define, prioritise, and validate solutions.
  • Manage product backlogs, write detailed specifications (Epics/Features/User Stories/Tasks), lead backlog refinement sessions, and oversee sprint planning and other Agile ceremonies within Agile teams.
  • Continuously assess and prioritise backlog items based on business impact, user value, and technical feasibility, balancing speed with quality.
  • Act as the key point of contact between stakeholders, engineering, QA, and AI teams to ensure alignment and shared understanding of product goals.
  • Test hypotheses quickly through low/no-code tooling and early experimentation before full development commitment.
  • Run effective cross-functional sessions, including story mapping, process design, and problem framing.
