We are partnering with a high-growth, global insurance solutions provider as they continue to expand their presence within the Lloyd’s of London market. This is a new, strategic hire with a clear mandate to build and lead the Lloyd’s of London practice—owning both growth and delivery in one of the most complex and evolving insurance ecosystems.
The Opportunity
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, client engagement, and delivery. You will:
- Define and build a Lloyd’s of London market practice from the ground up
- Shape strategy, capability, and future roadmap aligned to market initiatives (e.g. Blueprint 2.0)
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping solve complex business and transformation challenges
- Lead solutioning and RFP responses, working closely with sales and delivery
- Bridge the gap between business needs and technology delivery
This is not a purely strategic role—you will be expected to roll up your sleeves and actively contribute to solution design and client outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Deep, hands-on experience within the Lloyd’s of London market strong understanding of:
- Syndicates, brokers, and the Lloyd’s ecosystem
- Delegated underwriting / DA models
- Regulatory frameworks (e.g. FCA)
- Core Experience
- Broad exposure across:
- Underwriting
- Policy servicing
- Finance / accounting
- Regulatory environments
- Proven experience in Solutioning / RFP leadership
- Client-facing roles with senior stakeholder engagement
- Ability to provide credible thought leadership on market trends
Ideal Background
- Experience within a Lloyd’s syndicate or broker (preferred) OR consultancy experience with strong, demonstrable Lloyd’s expertise
