Practice Lead - Insurance Services to drive large-scale transformation programmes across the insurance value chain.

This is a unique opportunity for a senior insurance leader who combines deep domain expertise with a passion for technology, process innovation, AI, and client consulting.

You will play a pivotal role in helping insurers reimagine underwriting, claims, policy administration, billing and operational processes through the adoption of next-generation technologies, intelligent automation, and agentic AI frameworks.

The Opportunity

This role sits at the intersection of business transformation, insurance operations, technology strategy, and solution design .

You will work closely with C-suite stakeholders, transformation leaders, and delivery teams to translate complex business challenges into scalable solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.

You will lead consulting engagements, shape solution strategy, support major bids and RFPs, and establish best practices that can be deployed across multiple insurance clients globally.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Leading the design and transformation of end-to-end insurance processes across underwriting, claims, policy servicing, billing and reinsurance.
  • Defining future-state operating models and identifying opportunities for intelligent automation and AI-led transformation.
  • Acting as a trusted adviser to senior client stakeholders on operational and technology strategy.
  • Supporting complex RFPs, proposals, solution architecture, and executive presentations.
  • Building scalable frameworks, methodologies and delivery playbooks for transformation programmes.
  • Creating business cases linked to tangible outcomes including operational efficiency, customer experience, cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Bridging the gap between business and technology teams, translating strategic objectives into practical solutions.
  • Leading cross-functional global teams and contributing to practice growth and capability development.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in insurance consulting, transformation, solutioning, or operational leadership.
  • Strong understanding of Insurance Services across General Insurance, Specialty, London Market or Reinsurance.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale transformation programmes.
  • Experience leading client-facing consulting engagements and solution design initiatives.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to build business cases and ROI-driven transformation strategies.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and leadership skills.

Hands-on experience with the Duck Creek platform is essential.

  • Experience delivering Duck Creek transformation, implementation, migration, optimisation or modernisation programmes.
  • Knowledge of insurance core systems and digital operating models.
  • Exposure to AI, intelligent automation, Gen AI, analytics, workflow orchestration or emerging insurance technologies.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms, APIs, systems integration and enterprise architecture.
