We’re looking for a Workday Payroll specialist to help our client with their end of Q4 payroll duties.
Location: Bristol HQ – Hybrid (3 days p/w on site).
Duration: 2 months.
Base pay range: Direct message the job poster from Sanderson.
Responsibilities:- Processing monthly end‑to‑end payroll.
- Check, control and maintain amendments to employee pay and IME.
- Calculate and prepare international salary, tax and pension payments.
- Reconcile and provide returns and associated payments to internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintenance of specific controls and control documentation for line management.
- Support employees with payroll related queries.
- Deal with high volume queries across all levels, demonstrating great customer care.
- Carry out ad hoc requests as required in an accurate and timely manner.
- Liaise with our third‑party payroll provider.
- Previous experience managing large payrolls with differing levels of complexity – ideally on Workday.
- Knowledge of Tax & NI rules.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication at all levels within the organisation and externally.
- Adaptable and able to react quickly to changing priorities.
- Formal qualification preferable but understanding how to calculate pay is more important.
- Great organisational skills – prioritise workload, work independently and be a team player.
- High level Excel proficiency.
