Our client, a global leading organisation, is looking to hire a Quality Engineer with experience of test automation to drive high-quality software delivery. In this hands-on role, you'll work within an Agile team to deliver robust manual and automated testing practices, while also taking on a tech/functional leadership role by guiding, overseeing, and driving testing activities across the team.
The successful candidate will lead testing efforts, mentor offshore testers and ensure the delivery of high-quality releases. This includes test planning, test case preparation, test execution, test automation, and defect management to drive continuous improvement in our Agile testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and enhance test automation frameworks using Katalon Studio (Will be put through all certifications).
- Implementing Katalon Studio across their products with Groovy.
- Lead test planning, automation, and defect management.
- Collaborate with Agile teams and stakeholders in Sprint ceremonies.
- Support DevOps teams with deployment and environment issues.
Skills and experience required:
- Relevant experience working with Scrum teams specialising in both manual testing and test automation.
- Proficiency with either Java or Groovy.
- Experience as a Senior Quality Engineer with proficiency in Pega testing and test automation tools.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure Test Plans.
- London Market Insurance experience is essential.
