This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping how change is delivered across the organisation, supporting both organic growth and future acquisitions.

Working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders across the business, you will lead the delivery of critical projects, introduce effective project management practices, and help create the structure needed to support ongoing growth while maintaining pace and agility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver business-critical projects, including operational improvements, process optimisation and systems change initiatives.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across Sales, Operations, Finance and Leadership teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Introduce and embed practical project management frameworks and delivery processes.
  • Bring structure, visibility and accountability to complex or evolving initiatives.
  • Act as the central coordination point for cross-functional projects and business change activities.
  • Support post-acquisition integration planning and delivery as the business continues to grow through M&A activity.
  • Balance hands-on project delivery with the development of governance and reporting structures.
  • Drive progress and influence stakeholders across the business without relying on formal authority.

About You

You will be a proactive and adaptable Project Manager who enjoys working in fast-paced environments and creating structure where it does not yet exist. You'll be comfortable working with ambiguity, engaging senior stakeholders and taking ownership of project outcomes from inception through to delivery.

You’ll bring:

  • A practical and commercially focused approach to project delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for driving business improvement.
  • Confidence operating independently and influencing across functions.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 3 to 7 years' experience in project management, business change or transformation roles.
  • Proven experience delivering projects within fast-paced, growing businesses, consultancies or SME environments.
  • Experience introducing or improving project delivery methods and ways of working.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to manage projects without established PMO structures or mature governance frameworks.
  • Experience balancing multiple priorities while maintaining delivery momentum.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience within the energy, utilities or commercial services sector.
  • Exposure to mergers and acquisitions integration activities.
  • Experience supporting business transformation or organisational change programmes.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and delivery frameworks.

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Hybrid working based in Newbury.
  • 23 days annual leave, including 3 days between Christmas and New Year.
  • Salary Exchange Pension Scheme (3% employer / 5% employee contributions).
  • Sage employee benefits and discounts platform.
  • Quarterly company events.
  • Significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to shape how project delivery is embedded across the business.
  • Long-term career progression within a rapidly growing organisation.
