We're looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer with strong Azure expertise to support a government client delivering secure, scalable cloud platforms. This contract is paying £560 per day (Inside IR35) and will run for around 5-6 months, with the possibility of extension. The role requires 3 days per week on-site in Milton Keynes, with the remainder remote.
You'll be focused on building, migrating and supporting cloud infrastructure across Azure (primarily) with some exposure to AWS, working within a secure, regulated environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Designing and building cloud infrastructure across Azure (and some AWS)
- Creating and implementing cloud landing zones
- Migrating legacy applications into cloud environments
- Developing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep)
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Managing identity and access (Azure AD / IAM)
- Applying strong security practices, including Zero Trust principles
- Acting as a technical SME and supporting stakeholders
Tech and environment:
- Microsoft Azure (core platform)
- AWS (working knowledge)
- Terraform and/or Bicep (IaC)
- CI/CD tooling and DevSecOps practices
