We have recently partnered with a growing tech organisation, based in York, who are building out a brand new Project Management capability. Within this, they are looking to recruit a Programme Manager, as well as other positions.

The Programme Manager will be responsible for managing a range of programmes, in a complex, multi-workstream environment. The ideal candidate will come from a public sector, government funded or non-profit organisation and have experience working in agile/waterfall methodologies, as well as having strong client management skills. The role is based in York and is a hybrid role, so 2/3 days in office is the expectation.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience as a Programme Manager in a small to medium sized organisation
  • Ideally a background in non-profit or government funded companies
  • Programme Manager qualifications such as (e.g. Prince2)

Key responsibilities:

  • Accountable for successful delivery of assigned programmes on behalf of the SRO.
  • Translate strategic objectives into a clear programme vision, roadmap and delivery plan.
  • Establish programme governance, controls and reporting, ensuring compliance with company and funder requirements.
  • Oversee programme delivery, including scope, budget, dependencies, risks and outcomes.
