We are supporting a major transformation programme seeking an experienced Security Architect to lead the security design and assurance of enterprise platforms, with a particular focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and wider business critical technology services.
This role will be responsible for ensuring security is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle, supporting the secure implementation of D365 solutions alongside complex integrations, cloud services and enterprise applications.
The Role
Working closely with Enterprise Architecture, Technology teams and programme stakeholders, you will define and govern security architecture across the transformation programme, ensuring solutions are secure, compliant and aligned to organisational standards.
You will play a key role in assessing security risks, reviewing solution designs and advising on security controls across Microsoft technologies, including Dynamics 365.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review cybersecurity architecture across enterprise systems, networks and cloud platforms.
- Provide security architecture guidance for Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations and integrations.
- Assess the impact of D365, associated interfaces and third party integrations on the organisation's overall security posture.
- Support the design and implementation of secure Identity and Access Management solutions, including role based access models.
- Ensure solutions meet security requirements across multiple data classifications and geographic regions.
- Produce security architecture documentation throughout the programme lifecycle.
- Conduct security assurance reviews and identify security gaps, risks and areas of non compliance.
- Support the development of Security Risk Management Plans and remediation activities.
- Define and document security controls for systems, applications and networks.
- Ensure secure configuration management practices are adopted across programme delivery.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security and Governance teams to support risk management, compliance and technology assurance processes.
Experience Required
- Proven experience operating as a Security Architect within large scale transformation or change programmes.
- Strong understanding of enterprise cybersecurity architecture principles and secure by design approaches.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 security architecture, governance or implementation programmes.
- Knowledge of D365 security models, role based access control and integration security considerations.
- Experience with Microsoft cloud technologies including Azure, Entra ID and Microsoft security tooling.
- Strong background in security assurance, risk management and architecture governance.
- Ability to engage with senior stakeholders, suppliers and technical delivery teams.
Desirable
- Experience within regulated or security sensitive environments.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust principles.
- Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, CAF or similar security frameworks.
- Experience securing complex Saa S platforms and enterprise integrations.
