We are looking for experienced Principal VMware Consultants to support the design, deployment, and optimisation of enterprise-scale VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments. This is a key role working on high-impact transformation programmes, delivering modern cloud infrastructure solutions.
This role involves leading the design and architecture of VMware Cloud Foundation solutions, delivering end-to-end deployment of VCF environments, and optimising existing VCF platforms.
Responsibilities- Lead the design and architecture of VMware Cloud Foundation solutions
- Deliver end-to-end deployment of VCF environments
- Optimise and enhance existing VCF platforms to maximise value and performance
- Support upgrades and adoption of new VCF features and releases
- Develop and implement automation capabilities across infrastructure and platform services
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) (ideally VCF 5+)
- Proven experience in architecting and delivering VMware-based solutions
- VCP-VCF certification (essential)
- Experience preparing for or working with newer VCF releases
- Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure and cloud platforms
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) (ideally VCF 5+)
- Proven experience in architecting and delivering VMware-based solutions
- VCP-VCF certification (essential)
- Experience preparing for or working with newer VCF releases
- Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure and cloud platforms
- VMware Aria Automation (VRealize Automation)
- VMware Aria Operations (VRealize Operations)
- Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python, JavaScript)
- Experience delivering infrastructure automation projects
Day Rate: £600 - £1000 - depending on experience - Inside IR35
