A leading insurer is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to join its Motor Technical Pricing team. This is a hands-on role focused on building sophisticated pricing models that directly support profitability, growth, and competitive positioning. You’ll work in a technically strong environment with excellent learning opportunities and clear career development.

The Role: As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you’ll contribute to the development and enhancement of advanced technical pricing models and strategies. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and improving pricing models using GLMs and GBMs
  • Designing modelling plans, preparing data, and building models
  • Back-testing models and analysing pricing impacts
  • Supporting pricing structures and strategies to drive growth and profitability
  • Planning and managing your own projects with clear stakeholder communication
  • Contributing to innovation through new data sources and advanced techniques
  • Sharing knowledge and best practices across the pricing team

About You: You don’t need to tick every box, but you’ll be well-suited if you have:

  • Strong experience with GLMs and exposure to GBMs
  • Experience working with large data sets
  • Good coding capability (Python, SQL, SAS, Databricks or similar)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with WTW Radar and Emblem
  • A solid understanding of technical pricing components
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Confidence building relationships across pricing and wider business teams
