Sanderson are partnering with a global management and technology consultancy specialising in reinsurance and complex insurance markets. Operating across Europe, the Americas, and Asia‑Pacific, they are rapidly establishing themselves as a go‑to partner for large reinsurance organisations, particularly in the delivery and ongoing support of core reinsurance platforms.
As part of continued growth, we are hiring within the Reinsurance Centre of Excellence (COE) and are looking for Senior Consultants with deep reinsurance systems experience to play a key role in supporting and evolving mission‑critical platforms for our clients.
About the Role
As a Senior Consultant / Associate Team Lead within the COE, you will support reinsurance clients globally with their core system and managed service needs, with a strong focus on DXC SICS / Assure and Reinsurance platforms. This role is best suited to candidates from the reinsurance industry (or consulting roles deeply embedded in reinsurance), who enjoy being hands‑on with technology while working closely with clients and mentoring others.
What you’ll do:
- Support, manage, and optimise reinsurance core platforms, particularly DXC systems
- Own and run client accounts within the Centre of Excellence

- Lead and mentor junior consultants, helping build long‑term COE capability
- Support the transition of clients into managed service offerings
- Work across legacy and modern platforms, including DXC and Sonata
- Contribute to platform enhancements, system stability, and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in reinsurance, insurance, insurtech, or consulting with strong reinsurance exposure
- Hands‑on experience with DXC platforms or other reinsurance platforms/solutions (e.g. SICS 6 / 6C / 6ced / 6live / Assure Re)
- Strong understanding of reinsurance operations and core processes
- Client‑facing capability with a practical, problem‑solving mindset
- Some people leadership or mentoring experience preferred
Nice to have:
- Experience with DXC SICS / Assure Re APIs (SOAP / REST)
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of the SICS data model
- Experience with data migration
- Reporting and analytics experience (e.g. SAP BusinessObjects, MI solutions)
Why Join?
- The Centre of Excellence is a key growth engine, with increasing demand from reinsurers to outsource platform support
- Opportunity to cross‑train across multiple technologies and platforms
- Work on long‑term, high‑impact client engagements rather than short, transactional projects
- Collaborative, flat structure with real scope to influence how the COE evolves
- Hybrid working model with up to 15 days “working from anywhere”
Benefits
- 25 days’ annual leave + UK bank holidays
- Pension (6% employer / 3% employee)
- Private medical insurance (incl. dental)
- Life insurance & enhanced family‑friendly policies
- 2 paid volunteering days per year
- Employee Assistance Programme (24/7 mental health support)
- Cycle to Work & Tech schemes
