We have an excellent opportunity for a Head of Solutions Architecture to join a leading organisation based within the technology sector. Within this role you will be required to manage and develop a large team of solutions engineers to set standards for technical excellence, collaboration and customer engagement.
Salary: £90,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
- You will oversee and grow an established technical consulting team, setting clear expectations around technical quality, teamwork and client interaction.
- You will take a leading role in pre-sales engagement, applying strong technical expertise to clearly communicate the value of complex solutions to prospective customers. This includes producing high quality written material, delivering confident presentations and engaging stakeholders verbally.
Key Skills (You MUST have):
- Background in technical advisory, pre-sales support, or client-facing solution delivery within a managed services or technology services environment.
- Broad hands-on exposure to IT infrastructure and managed technology solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to create clear, professional proposals and bid documentation suitable for customer review.
- Relevant industry certifications across security, cloud, monitoring, or infrastructure platforms (vendor-specific qualifications advantageous but not limited to any single provider).
- Commercially aware, with the ability to align technical recommendations to business objectives.
- Confident in delivering presentations, workshops, and solution demonstrations.
- Highly organised, able to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Strong consultative listening skills, with the ability to interpret client needs and translate them into appropriate solutions.
- Comfortable communicating complex technical concepts to audiences with varying levels of technical understanding.
- Naturally collaborative, with a proven ability to build productive relationships across both sales and delivery teams.
