An IT Applications Manager is wanted on a permanent basis by a global client of ours who is at the forefront of their industry and going through a real period of growth. In this role, the successful candidate will oversee the design, development, implementation, and support of business-critical software applications across North West Europe.
This is a permanent opportunity that includes a base salary of between Β£72,000 - Β£80,000 dependent upon experience and qualifications plus bonus and benefits.
Overview of the IT Applications Manager role:- Lead the design, development, and ongoing support of software applications - stock management, automation systems.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of commercial software applications, with a focus on standardisation and reducing number of software applications in use.
- Act as the escalation point for critical application support issues, ensuring 24/7 operational continuity.
- Minimum of 5 yearsβ experience in a senior IT management role, including a minimum of 2 years focused on application management processes and procedures.
- Possess a deep understanding of systems and application management processes, and a proven track record of delivering large-scale software projects.
- Have previous experience in leading a team of developers whilst managing multiple simultaneous IT projects and ensuring compliance with relevant controls.
