We've partnered with a brilliant Fin Tech business that's going through a major transformation across Data, Digital, Technology and Customer Experience.
They're completely rethinking how customers and colleagues interact with the business and its platforms, all powered by large-scale, complex data.
As part of this journey, they're looking for two Senior Data Product Managers to take ownership of key data domains. Whilst strong data expertise is important, the real focus is finding proven
Product Managers who know how to define, shape and grow successful data products.
This is not a Project Manager or Delivery Manager role.
We're looking for true Product professionals who can own strategy, roadmap, adoption and outcomes from end to end.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Own a portfolio of data products within a specific domain, which could be Customer Data for example.
- Working on exciting innovations like building a Data Marketplace.
- Define product vision, strategy, roadmaps and success measures.
- You’ll own a portfolio of data products within a domain - defining what each product is, who it serves, and what outcome it drives
- You’ll maintain the roadmap, make trade-offs, drive adoption, and kill things that aren’t working.
You’re the interface between business stakeholders who need data to make decisions and the engineering teams who build it
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand needs and turn them into clear product priorities.
- Partner with Data Engineering, Architecture, Data Science and Governance teams to deliver valuable, trusted data products.
- Prioritise initiatives, make trade-offs and ensure focus remains on the highest-value opportunities.
- Drive adoption and usage of data products across the business.
- Monitor product performance, value delivered and operational costs.
- Ensure products meet governance, quality and regulatory requirements.
- Lead ongoing discovery to identify new opportunities and improve existing products.
- What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years' experience in Data Product Management, Analytics Product Management or a similar role.
- Proven track record of owning data products, not simply delivering projects.
- Strong understanding of data, analytics and how organisations consume and use data to make decisions.
- Experience defining product strategy, roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge senior leaders.
- Commercially minded with experience balancing value, cost and investment decisions.
- Experience working with Data Engineering, Architecture, Data Science and Governance teams.
- Comfortable operating in complex, regulated environments.
- Nice to Have
- Experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Big Query or Redshift.
- Exposure to AI/ML products, features or model governance.
- Experience managing data product SLAs and support models.
- Background
- Ideally, you'll have experience within
Fin Tech or Financial Services , although we're also open to candidates from other heavily regulated industries with large, complex customer data environments.
Fin Tech and FS experience will naturally be highly advantageous given the nature of the business and the transformation programme.
