A growing, London Market-focused insurance software provider is seeking an exceptional Head of Product to lead the next phase of its product evolution.

This is a high-impact, leadership role with full ownership of product strategy, roadmap, and organisational direction—driving the transition from a traditionally delivery-led model to a modern, product-led business.

The Opportunity

You will join the senior leadership team and take ownership of a multi-product portfolio, balancing established platforms with the development of next-generation SaaS solutions.

This role sits at the heart of a scaling organisation with strong market traction, offering the opportunity to shape product vision, influence company strategy, and build a market-leading product function.

Key Responsibilities

Define & Lead Product Strategy

  • Set and communicate a clear, compelling product vision aligned to growth objectives
  • Own a multi-year roadmap focused on scalability, customer value, and commercial impact
  • Lead the transition from on-premise solutions to a SaaS-led product model

Build & Inspire a High-Performing Team

  • Lead, develop, and scale a Product Management function
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer-centric thinking
  • Embed best practice across product discovery, prioritisation, and agile delivery

Deliver Market-Leading Products

  • Own the full product lifecycle—from ideation through to delivery and launch
  • Use data and insight to drive product decisions and measure success (adoption, retention, performance)
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Sales, and Customer Success

Act as a Market & Customer Advocate

  • Maintain deep expertise across the London Market and its evolving dynamics
  • Engage directly with insurers, MGAs, brokers, and key stakeholders
  • Ensure product decisions are grounded in customer need and measurable outcomes

Drive Commercial Impact

  • Lead investment cases and portfolio prioritisation decisions
  • Balance innovation with commercial return and scalability
  • Support go-to-market strategy and product-led growth initiatives

Influence at Executive Level

  • Represent Product at leadership and board level
  • Align product strategy with financial and operational objectives
  • Communicate vision, progress, and outcomes with clarity and credibility

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in senior product leadership roles
  • Strong track record in B2B SaaS or complex enterprise software environments
  • Experience leading product transformation (project-led → product-led)
  • Deep understanding of the London Market / Lloyd’s ecosystem (or adjacent regulated sectors)
  • Commercially astute, with experience managing budgets, portfolios, and ROI
  • Strong grasp of agile delivery, product governance, and data-driven decision making
