A Regional Maintenance Manager is wanted on a permanent basis by a global client of ours who are at the forefront of their industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe management and efficient running of the maintenance teams in the Scotland Region. This is a permanent opportunity that includes a base salary of circa £65,000 plus a bonus and other benefits.
Overview of the Regional Maintenance Manager role:
- Be accountable for the safety (process and occupational) performance of the maintenance team.
- Identify and implement improvement practices/processes in co-ordination with other associated departments and teams.
- Support operational teams to ensure the safe preparation/ handover & receipt/ re-commissioning of all assets under operational control.
- Drive a continuous improvement mindset across all sites.
Key skills and qualifications required for the Regional Maintenance Manager role:
- Significant experience on a COMAH site with a full driving license.
- Be able to demonstrate extensive experience in the management of safe systems of work practices and experience in permit control, risk assessments and method statements.
- Previously managed teams both on site and remote workers.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are essential.
