Python Developer (Contract)

• Rate – £650 / £700 per day Inside IR35
• Duration – 3 months initial, planned extension
• Remote / Once a month on site into London

We are seeking a skilled Python/Django Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable web applications and services. You will play a key role in designing backend architecture, optimising performance, and ensuring seamless integration with cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Python and Django.
• Design, implement, and optimise RESTful APIs.
• Manage databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Firestore) and optimise queries.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for efficient development workflows.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of applications.
• Work closely with frontend developers, designers, and product teams.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimise application performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
