Digital Product Owner / Digital Product Manager /Technical Product Owner – Delivery and hands on
- 6 month initial contract
- £600 – £650 per day – Umbrella engagement
- 1 or 2 days a month on site in London
Overview:
We're looking for an experienced Digital Product Owner / Product Manager who can lead discovery work shops with a range of stakeholders but also delivery focused role, where strategy and roadmap are in place and they need someone to come in drive the delivery of on a number of Digital Products. As mentioned the client is one of the UK retail brands so experience of Ecommerce of Retail will be a big advantage.
You will work closely with them to align roadmaps, business opportunities with stakeholder priorities and interests across their critical products for this client. Working closely and as the conduit between Digital, Engineering and the Business.
Skills and Experience
- Proven delivery of large-scale platform replacements – migrations in communications platforms, CRM, or similar would be highly desirable
- Likely on the technical, back-end side of Product
- Experience in a large, complex environment, ideally retail or similar
- Hands-on experience with the discovery phase of a project
- Hands-on experience with delivery
- Excellent stakeholder management – able to bridge technical and business teams.
- Familiarity with governance, compliance, and ensuring operational continuity during platform transitions.
Responsibilities
- Drive the delivery the transformation of the commuincations platofrm product by working closely with a range of senior stakeholders across the business including in the UK and EU.
- Lead and shape discovery work shops
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, build and maintain the product backlog, analyse business requirements and produce user stories and acceptance criteria
- Contribute to the broader culture of by evangelising an agile mindset and lean approach
- Deliver key initiatives to meet the business objectives
- Be the voice of of the clients Group customer and build strong relationships with key stakeholders in order to effectively represent customer needs
