The Opportunity:

  • As a key member of our DevOps Platform Squad, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our infrastructure and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our platform.
  • Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading a significant cloud migration from Azure to AWS, while maintaining existing Azure and AWS infrastructure.
  • Ensuring the security and integrity of our platform and infrastructure.
  • Operating and optimizing container orchestration solutions (Kubernetes/EKS).
  • Designing, building, and managing robust CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implementing and managing Infrastructure as Code solutions.
  • Contributing to an agile environment, championing DevOps principles.
  • Managing disaster recovery strategies, monitoring, and alerting systems.
  • Mentoring Platform and Software Engineers on DevOps best practices.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong experience with AWS as a cloud provider, particularly managing EKS workloads.
  • Demonstrable experience with Azure as a cloud provider.
  • Solid understanding of working within PHP, Python, and/or .NET ecosystems.
  • Proficiency in writing Infrastructure as Code (experience with Pulumi is highly desirable).
  • Proven ability to deploy and operate applications on Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of Git and source control best practices.
  • Experience with Configuration Management systems (e.g., Ansible, Chef).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate the benefits of DevOps practices (Agile, Theory of Constraints, SLO-based monitoring).
  • Experience working in a fast-scaling business and a proactive approach to change.

  • Bash and PowerShell scripting.
  • Terraform.
  • Provisioning and administering Windows Servers and VMs.
