We're seeking an experienced Desktop Engineer to support a large-scale laptop refresh and EUC transformation programme (12-month contract) for a leading UK company. Please note, this is fully on site 5 days per week. This role will suit a hands-on engineer with a strong Desktop / EUC background and a proven track record delivering device refresh and rollout programmes.

You'll bring solid experience across Windows 10/11 environments (ideally with migration/rollout exposure) and be comfortable operating in project-led environments, balancing structured delivery with evolving technical requirements. The position will focus on end-to-end device rollout, OS migration and broader estate modernisation within a structured delivery environment. You will also provide post rollout desktop support (floorwalking).

Key focus areas:

  • Laptop refresh (build, configuration, deployment) alongside Windows 11 / 23H2 migration
  • OneDrive migration, security enhancements (BIOS / Biometrics) and certificate transition
  • Supporting AV/screen rollout and wider EUC project activity
  • Onboarding activity (Freshservice), MFA enablement, and light-touch vulnerability management support

If you're a hands-on Desktop Engineer with experience across structured rollouts and estate upgrades, please apply. Please note, engagement is via umbrella company only; all tax and NI will be deducted at source.
