Job Description
Join a global IT services leader delivering mission-critical solutions in secure environments. They're hiring an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to support a high-profile client, working on-site in Central London (5 days/week).
You'll play a key role in database management, automation, and optimisation while supporting critical operations in a dynamic tech environment.This is a permanent role paying up to 65k per annum.
The opportunity can be either London or Manchester based.
What You'll Do:

Install, configure, and maintain database systems

Automate and monitor routine DBA tasks

Troubleshoot and resolve database issues

Perform patching, upgrades, and ensure data security

Work collaboratively on innovative tech projects
What We're Looking For:

Experience in managing databases like MongoDB, MySQL, etc.

Comfortable with Linux (RHEL) and/or Windows Server

Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)

Scripting skills (Python, Bash)

Knowledge of monitoring tools (OEM, Nagios) and replication solutions

Familiarity with clustering, backup, and disaster recovery methods
Qualifications:

Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

Proven infrastructure and DBA expertise

Strong problem-solving, automation, and continuous learning mindset
Ideally you will already hold a DV clearance but you must able to undergo the clearance process during this role!
