Role: Front-End Developer
Location: Hybrid 2-3 days per week in Corsham
Seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to support the delivery of a public facing government website, aligned to GDS and Gov. The role focuses on building accessible and maintainable user interfaces for content-led digital services.
You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary Agile delivery team, collaborating closely with content designers, content writers, back-end developers, service owners, and delivery leads to deliver high quality outcomes for the end users.
- Build and maintain front-end components for a public-sector digital service
- Translate designs and prototypes into high-quality, performant front-end code
- Work closely with content designers and writers to support content-led journeys
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and services
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement activities
Strong front-end development experience using modern frameworks/libraries, particularly React.
Proven experience designing and building front-end user interfaces for digital services.
Experience working within Agile, multidisciplinary delivery teams.
Strong JavaScript/React skills, with an emphasis on maintainable, reusable code.
