Overview

We are supporting a leading professional services firm as they grow their Corporate Finance Analytics capability within Deals. The role sits directly inside transaction teams, working on live M&A processes, financial due diligence and value creation work. Analytics here is used to sharpen deal decisions, accelerate diligence and bring clarity under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver analytics‑led financial due diligence on live deals.
  • Support M&A buy side, sell side and vendor assist work.
  • Analyse financial statements and operational datasets under tight deadlines.
  • Automate analysis using tools such as Alteryx, Power Query or similar.
  • Present clear findings to senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Support proposals and business development activity.

Qualifications

  • Corporate Finance or Transaction Services background with hands‑on experience across live transactions.
  • Chartered accountant (ACA, ICAS/ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Experience with analytics tools (Alteryx, Power Query or equivalent) and ability to automate and due diligence analysis.
  • Confident working directly with clients, investors and partners.
  • Clear understanding of how analytics improves deal speed and confidence.
  • London‑based with hybrid working capability.
