Our client, a large financial services company, is hiring for a Consumer Duty SME. They are looking for a Consumer Duty subject matter expert to support an organisation-wide programme focused on embedding and operationalising consumer duty across the society.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the consumer duty SME across a large transformation programme
- Review existing CD frameworks, policies and controls
- Advise on best practice approaches for embedding and operationalising CD
- Deliver training, coaching and knowledge sharing sessions when required
- Work with programme and business teams to ensure CD requirements are understood and effectively implemented
- Engage confidently with executive and board level stakeholders, presenting findings and recommendations
Skills & Experience required:
- Proven expertise in consumer duty
- Strong understanding of FCA regulations & expectations
- Experience working with or within regulatory bodies
- Track record of advising on consumer duty implementation and operationalisation programmes
- Ability to provide credible challenge and independent review
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Consulting background or advisory experience would be highly advantageous
