A client of ours is looking for a Finance Manager, fluent in English and Korean to take ownership of the company’s core finance operations while helping bring stronger structure, governance and insight to the finance function. This role will suit someone who is comfortable managing BAU financial responsibilities but is also motivated to improve processes, strengthen forecasting and help drive better financial management across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management (BAU Ownership)
- Oversee day-to-day finance operations including billing, accounts payable, payroll, revenue, cash management and reconciliations
- Ensure accurate and timely financial transactions and maintain strong financial controls
- Manage working capital, supplier payments and credit control
- Financial Reporting & Forecasting
- Produce monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Improve forecasting processes and ensure the business is working towards clear financial targets
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support operational and strategic decision making
- Process Improvement & Governance
- Introduce stronger financial processes, controls and governance
- Build more structure around financial planning, forecasting and reporting
- Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and operational efficiency
- Statutory & Compliance
- Lead statutory accounts preparation, audit coordination and regulatory reporting (IFRS)
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax requirements
Requirements
- Fluent in both English and Korean (essential)
- 7–10+ years’ experience in finance roles such as Finance Manager or Financial Controller
- Strong experience in financial reporting, forecasting and financial operations
- Proven ability to improve financial processes and bring structure to finance functions
- Accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent preferred
