We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Consultant (Principal Data Analyst) for a contract engagement to lead advanced data analysis and support the development of robust data solutions. This role is critical in providing the team with a comprehensive understanding of the data landscape, uncovering complexities, and informing mapping strategies based on a clear grasp of data logic and business rules.

You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to translate analytical findings into actionable insights, build intuitive dashboards, and guide data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis across multiple systems to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and opportunities.
  • Evaluate and document the data landscape, including data sources, flows, and dependencies.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that deliver clear, actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data logic and business rules.
  • Translate complex data relationships into effective data mapping and transformation strategies.

  • Proven experience as a Power BI Consultant, Principal Data Analyst, or similar role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, logic, and business rules.
  • Experience working with complex datasets from multiple sources (e.g., SQL, Excel, cloud platforms).
  • Ability to communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes, data governance, and data quality frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
