Our client, a leading financial service company, is looking to hire an experienced Infrastructure Support Engineer to provide operational support for IT infrastructure, ensuring systems and networks run smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting their peers within the infrastructure team and Technology team as a whole. This role is crucial in ensuring stability and integrity for our clients' IT infrastructure.
Previous experience with SQL (basic DBA & support responsibilities) is essential.
General responsibilities:
- Provide 3rd line infrastructure and operational support for infrastructure, including Active Directory, Azure Active Directory/Entra ID and security authentication.
- General Network Management - Configure and support network hardware, software, switches, routers, firewalls etc. Ability to advise on preventative measures.
- Documentation: Document IT infrastructure layout and design for future reference and upgrades.
Skills required:
- In-depth understanding of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
- General Networking, CISCO Switches, Routers and SD-WAN is essential.
- Firewalls (Palo Alto preferred).
- SQL Admin & support.
