This is an exciting opportunity to join Sanderson’s high-performing permanent recruitment team in Bristol, working with established clients across the UK.
As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, engaging, and placing top-tier technology professionals. You’ll manage the full 360° recruitment lifecycle, combining business development with high-quality delivery to drive revenue, reputation, and long-term partnerships.
The Role
- Client & Candidate Engagement
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and candidates
- Provide expert technology recruitment advice and tailored solutions aligned to client needs
- Lead talent mapping, headhunting, and market engagement within your specialist technology vertical
- Business Development
- Generate new business and secure exclusive or retained recruitment opportunities
- Grow existing Sanderson client relationships by introducing and expanding technology recruitment capability
- Attend client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities to strengthen market presence
- Collaboration & Market Expertise
- Share market insights and contribute to wider team and divisional strategy
- Collaborate with colleagues across Sanderson’s specialist divisions to deliver joined-up recruitment solutions
- Stay informed on recruitment, technology, and wider market trends
About You
- Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within technology or a related professional sector
- Strong commercial awareness with a demonstrable track record in business development
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Resilient, driven, and genuinely motivated by supporting careers and building long-term partnerships
- Comfortable managing multiple roles and priorities in a fast-paced environment
