Currently recruiting for a seasoned Data Platform Engineer to join our market-leading client, through a period of growth and innovation. They are seeking a seasoned Data Platform Engineer with a blend of AWS, Dbt and the ability to ingest data into a data platform through DevOps practices to join the business, tasked with supporting a modern cloud data platform environment. Exceptional stakeholder management is key to success in this role, as you will be required to gather requirements from around the business. You will also have a positive and collaborative mindset towards your work.

Key Experience (A blend of):

  • Data Platform expertise
  • Ability to ingest data into a data platform through DevOps practices
  • Knowledge / expertise of Snowflake / Cloud Data warehousing
  • Breadth of expertise with Data pipelines / products / lineage
  • Ability to move / manipulate data in and out of different data sources
  • Knowledge of data retention policies / data management
  • AWS experience (core AWS platform)
  • Ability to automate processes
  • Appreciation of Python software engineering (pipeline patterns + ingestion frameworks)
  • Terraform / Infrastructure as Code beneficial
  • Comfortable working in fast-moving squads
  • Collaborative in nature
