Electrical and Instrumentation Design Engineer position in Bolton (hybrid working) with a salary range of £35,000 - £50,000 plus bonus and benefits.

An E&I Designer is wanted on a permanent basis by a global client who is at the forefront of their industry. The successful candidate will deliver CAD generated E&I drawings, review and interpret customer specifications, produce material requisitions, and contract documents accurately and in accordance with project schedules.

Overview of the E&I Design Engineer role:

  • Work within a multi-disciplined team of engineers on high valve process plant projects and equipment packages for global end customers predominantly in the oil, petrochemical, nuclear, and power sectors.
  • The main deliverables of this role will be CAD generated E&I drawings in accordance with project schedules.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance against design standards.

Key skills and qualifications required for the E&I Design Engineer role:

  • Possess a number of years’ experience of CAD E&I drafting relating to process equipment and equipment packages.
  • Have proven experience and knowledge of electrical equipment, control systems, instruments, and valves used on process packages within the offshore and petrochemical industries.
  • The successful candidate will have prior experience of working for customers in the oil, petrochemical, nuclear, and power sectors and in working with engineering contractors serving these customers.
