This super organisation delivers complex construction and engineering projects across Ireland and the UK. This is a senior site leadership role with full responsibility for delivery, safety, quality and financial performance, driving value, controlling risk and maintaining strong standards across HSE and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead preparation of project programmes, method statements and contract submissions.
- Chair project start-up meetings and support resource planning.
- Lead all project functions including planning, risk, commercial performance and HSE compliance.
- Ensure the team and supply chain meet required HSE and quality standards.
- Coordinate design delivery across consultants and subcontractors, including BIM where required.
- Implement and maintain the Project Execution Plan with focus on safety and quality.
- Monitor programme performance and drive improvements in buildability.
- Lead subcontractor selection, onboarding and performance management.
- Work closely with the QS and Site Manager to manage productivity and delivery.
- Review and approve spend, subcontractor appointments and financial reporting.
- Lead defect management through to sign off.
- Support final account agreement and loss and expense submissions.
- Oversee commissioning, client handover and aftercare.
- Lead, develop and manage the project team.
- Conduct performance and development conversations with direct reports.
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent in a construction related field.
- Competence in working at height, scaffolding and lifting operations.
- Understanding of behavioural safety and root cause analysis.
- Experience in contracts management and commercial control.
- Strong track record in CVR and project financial management.
- Experience delivering structured Project Execution Plans.
