Base pay range Direct message the job poster from Sanderson Senior Contract Recruiter – Software (Financial Services) AWS Migration Consultant – Outside IR35 Contract Duration: 6 months Start Date: ASAP Location: Bristol – Hybrid. You\’ll need to spend significant time on-site during the first two weeks, with occasional or once-a-week on-site presence thereafter. Interview Process: One-stage interview over teams – technical conversation The Role: As a Migration Consultant, you\’ll play a crucial role in our migration efforts. This isn\’t just about moving data; it\’s about strategic planning, robust engineering, and ensuring a seamless transition. You\’ll be responsible for: Overseeing the end-to-end migration journey. Applying strong engineering skills with a focus on DevOps practices, including expertise in GitLab and Terraform. Leveraging your experience with AWS and Windows environments. Conducting technical assessments, contributing to design and strategy, and shaping architecture. Addressing security considerations, risks, and technical debt (capture and mitigation). Developing comprehensive cut-over plans and defining the business support model. About you: We\’re looking for someone with a proven track record in migrations and a solid technical foundation. You should be: Highly skilled in DevOps methodologies and tools. Experienced with AWS and Windows. A strategic thinker who can contribute to architecture, design, and technical strategy. A problem-solver who can identify and mitigate risks and technical debt. A strong communicator, capable of collaborating effectively with various stakeholders.
