Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is looking to hire an experienced AWS Cloud Architect for an on-premise to AWS cloud migration, including legacy apps in a Redhat Linux platform.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a migration project, preferably from a physical datacentre to AWS, and experience in application migration and optimisation, specifically based on AWS/Linux platforms.
The initial project will involve the physical migration. During this stage, you will have an awareness of the target state ensuring designs and decisions made at the early stage to ensure optimisation and the success of a future modern network.
Working in a busy and target-driven project environment, you will liaise with engineers, department heads, etc. to create suitable designs. You will also have extensive experience with cloud native skill sets and the ability to design successful solutions to ensure the continuity of legacy infrastructure running in the cloud, maximising optimisation and efficiency.
You will be able to provide case study examples of designing and implementing modern cloud infrastructure solutions, making the most of optimisation and future cloud systems.
Services can be provided on a remote basis. This assignment is required to operate through an Umbrella company and all employer, employee tax and NI will be deducted from the rate.
