We're hiring a 1st Line Application Support Engineer to join a FinTech product team supporting a high-volume, business-critical financial platform used by global clients. This role sits at the front line of support, handling incidents and service requests, ensuring issues are triaged effectively and progressed in line with SLAs. The company in question are well-regarded and have been operating in the UK for over 30 years. Responsibilities
- Log, categorise and triage incoming incidents and service requests.
- Carry out initial investigation and troubleshooting, escalating where required.
- Maintain accurate ticket updates, including customer communication and root cause analysis.
- Support releases and configuration changes following change management processes.
- Assist with routine maintenance and proactive system health checks.
- Participate in a 24×7 on-call support rota.
