Application Support Developer Wiltshire (Hybrid - 3 days on-site per week) Are you passionate about solving problems and supporting business-critical applications? We're looking for an Application Support Developer to join a forward-thinking organisation undergoing major digital transformation. You'll play a key role in ensuring systems run smoothly while supporting users and contributing to the ongoing development of new solutions. Deliver 1st and 2nd line support for internal business applications, resolving incidents and service requests quickly and effectively. Support application updates, configuration changes, and data management tasks. Assist with testing and quality assurance for new software releases. Contribute to clear, user-friendly documentation including support materials and user guides. Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and support teams to prioritise and resolve issues in line with business needs. Maintain awareness of the business processes supported by each application to ensure effective operational support. Proven experience in application or software support (1st or 2nd line). Basic knowledge of querying databases (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL). Understanding of software development environments and processes. Familiarity with ITIL-aligned incident, request, and change management practices. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics applications. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure). Familiarity with software testing and QA practices. Experience working within Agile or KANBAN environments.
