A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Programme Manager to join a purpose-driven organisation delivering innovation and transformation programmes with real-world impact.

Reporting to the Head of Programme Management, you will take end-to-end accountability for the successful delivery of complex programmes and associated projects, ensuring strategic objectives are translated into effective execution, governance, and measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading programmes from mobilisation through to delivery and closure
  • Managing programme governance, reporting, risks, dependencies, and budgets
  • Coordinating multiple project workstreams within a matrix environment
  • Engaging senior stakeholders, boards, and delivery teams
  • Overseeing suppliers, contracts, and Statements of Work
  • Driving continuous improvement, lessons learned, and outcome-focused delivery

Key experience required:

  • Proven experience delivering complex multi-workstream programmes
  • Strong governance, RAID, and stakeholder management expertise
  • Programme management qualifications such as MSP, PRINCE2, or APM
  • Financial management and budget oversight experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Experience within public sector, innovation, research, or regulated environments desirable
