Our Blue Chip Retail client is looking for an experienced Test Manager with experience in the retail sector and demonstrable experience in Oracle & SAP. The contract will be for 9 months, based in London/hybrid and via an Umbrella Company. The changes will impact around 90 teams, so the role requires someone with experience operating in a Senior Test Management capacity in a complex environment. Our Client is undergoing a large ERP SAP migration from Oracle and needs to simplify the approach to product hierarchies.
Key Requirements
- The candidate will be expected to hit the ground running and have proven experience managing complex testing programmes across large-scale, multi-system landscapes.
- Strong problem-solving capability is essential, including the ability to analyse complex data, identify core issues, and drive appropriate solutions.
- Excellent communication skills are required, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and build strong relationships across both business and technology teams.
- The candidate should have demonstrable experience managing integrations across multiple systems, alongside a solid grounding in testing methodologies.
- Experience in managing test environments is critical, including environment provisioning, data alignment, and ensuring integration readiness across complex landscapes.
- A risk-based approach to testing is expected, with the ability to prioritise effectively across large, resource-constrained programmes.
- A strong understanding of test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and the technical challenges associated with testing across both legacy and modern architectures is required, including batch processing, middleware, and event-driven systems.
