Contractor required to work with our industry leading client to define, document and test a disaster recovery strategy for an enterprise technology solution. Hybrid working - 2 days per week on site.
General responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance on solutions and issues related to all applications
- Develop and maintain technical standards and ensure best practice is adopted for the implementation of the solutions
- Act as a primary technical point of contact for specific projects
- Produce high-level design and technical specifications incorporating impact analysis
- Facilitate design meetings and workshops, creating an inclusive environment to develop ideas from engineers, developers and business analysts
- Support the definition, documentation and testing of the disaster recovery strategy for the enterprise technology solution
- Completing tasks assigned by the IT Infrastructure manager on a daily basis
- Reporting or highlighting issues to the IT Infrastructure manager
