This is a fantastic opportunity to join a major organisation as they rebuild their Digital Experience Platform, moving away from a legacy monolithic system to a modern, cloud-native, customer-first solution. You\’ll play a key delivery-focused role, supporting multiple squads and working alongside Principal Engineers and senior stakeholders to deliver complex, high-impact initiatives.
Ideal Candidate:
- 
Proven experience as a Senior/Staff Engineer within web and mobile application development
 - 
Strong expertise in React and NestJS (frontend-weighted, 60% web / 40% backend)
 - 
Experience designing and delivering micro frontend architectures with module federation
 - 
Deep knowledge of CI/CD, automation, and testing frameworks across unit, integration, E2E, and non-functional testing
 - 
Cloud-native expertise, ideally GCP or Azure (open to AWS)
 - 
Skilled in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform
 - 
Knowledge of secure development practices, OWASP, authentication/authorisation
 - 
Familiar with mobile frameworks (e.g. Ionic Capacitor)
 - 
Strong track record of technical leadership and mentoring across squads
 - 
Able to engage stakeholders up to C-suite level, influencing without direct authority

About the Role:
- 
Join at a critical stage as phase 1 of a new Digital Experience Platform goes live
 - 
Support 5-6 squads as their most senior delivery-focused technical leader
 - 
Partner with the Principal Engineer (strategy-focused) to shape technical direction
 - 
Drive engineering quality, security, scalability, and best practices across squads
 - 
Act as a mentor, challenger, and enabler – showing teams what good looks like
