We're working with a large, established organisation delivering a major digitalisation and process-improvement programme. They're seeking an experienced Power Platform Technical Lead to shape, build and evolve enterprise-scale solutions within a complex environment. This role suits someone senior in title and mindset, but still current and hands-on with modern Power Platform development.

You'll provide technical leadership across architecture, delivery and team direction, working within an Agile, DevOps-led setup alongside onshore and offshore teams.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading the end-to-end design and delivery of enterprise Power Platform solutions
  • Owning solution architecture, ensuring scalability, security, maintainability and best practice
  • Providing hands-on technical leadership across Model-Driven Apps, with strong understanding of Canvas Apps and PCF controls, including:
    • Building and maintaining Model-Driven and Canvas apps
    • Embedding Custom Pages / Canvas apps within Model-Driven forms to deliver the best of both approaches
    • Supporting and extending existing Canvas apps and PCF controls
  • Driving development standards across Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse
  • Leading CI/CD, DevOps and source-control practices across the team
  • Overseeing integrations with third-party and enterprise systems, confidently walking through data flows, security models and integration patterns
  • Working extensively with Azure services, including Service Bus, API Management (APIM), Function Apps and Logic Apps
  • Supporting pro-code extensibility using .NET and JavaScript, with exposure to React and Fluent UI for PCF controls (desirable)
  • Engaging with emerging technologies such as Code Apps, AI-assisted development and 'vibe coding' approaches (desirable)
  • Actively working with AI tooling, including GitHub Copilot for pro-code development and Copilot Studio for no-code/low-code workflow agents
  • Providing strong technical leadership by:
    • Guiding and mentoring teams of developers
    • Reviewing code, designs and architectural decisions
    • Defining and reviewing technical specifications and user story acceptance criteria
    • Maintaining and updating technical design documentation
  • Collaborating closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects and senior stakeholders

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience leading enterprise-scale Power Platform implementations
  • Senior-level background with recent, hands-on Power Platform development experience
  • Strong expertise in Model-Driven Apps, with solid experience in Canvas Apps and PCF
  • Good understanding of JavaScript-based frameworks used in PCF (React, Fluent UI - nice to have)
  • Strong integration experience across Azure services, APIs and secure data exchange
  • Experience working in Agile delivery teams with modern DevOps practices
  • Comfortable operating in large, regulated or complex corporate environments
  • Confident communicator, able to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
